May 24, 2012
The Graham Foundation for Advanced Studies in the Fine Arts is pleased to announce its 2012 Grants to Individuals. Over $400,000 was awarded to 55 grantees. The grantees, who represent a diverse national and international community of architects, scholars, writers, artists, designers, curators, and others, were selected after a highly competitive application process from a pool of 670 submissions. The awards, up to $15,000 each, will support publications, exhibitions, films, new media initiatives, public programs, and research.
“Each year we are privileged to see the diverse range of work being under taken by individuals around the world,” says Graham Foundation director Sarah Herda. “This review was one of the most competitive and out it emerges a group of challenging projects that we believe will make lasting contributions to the fields of architecture and design.”
